I have rated this beer lower than it really deserves based on the taste alone, but the markting bothers be. It isn’t anything else than a lager with a bit of this and a bit of that topped off with some caramel to give it the color.

On tap at the dock of the bay in beautiful Dragør, Denmark. Dark amber body with a low head. Notes of earthy malts in aroma. Pretty much the same goes for the flavour, maybe more in the direction of dark, caramel malts. Weak bitter touch to the end. Very ordinary, but perhaps special in a Carlsberg context (01.06.2008).

Tap at the Puk outdoor pub, Copenhagen. Brown color, moderate white head. Aroma is roasted malt and some fruit. Flavor is the same, with some bitterness and dry finish.

Can 33cl. Dark/brown clear body with a medium size off white head. Sweet malt in nose and flavour. A bit thin in my point of view.

On tap at a Danish restaurant. Golden color with no hop nose. Very thin with a slightly bitter flavor. Very similar to the Carlsberg Elephant.

Dark amber colour with short white head. Malty aroma and some hops. Watery palate. Flavour is bread like and malty with some bitter finish.

Dark amber with medium off white head. Malty aroma with caramel notes. Same goes for the flavor that ends light bitter.
