Smooth hops flavor, too smooth almost tastes of nothing. Impressive that it can be done with all that alcohol. stouby (1945), Holbaek, Denmark

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Oct 20, 2005 Mild herbal hops, corn, grain and alcohol in the nose. Clear golden body is topped by a low white head that recedes to partial cover. Fresh clean malt flavour with some light cabbagey notes, and fair finishing bitterness. Alcohol is very apparent especially in the aftertaste. Light body is somewhat watery with very strong, prickly carbonation. Sampled at the Copenhagen airport while waiting to board my flight home. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 14, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Very pale golden with a small, creamy head. Very flowery, hoppy nose. Medium body with sweet malts and an obvious alcohol. Very discreet bitterness in the finish. A poor celebration of a Royal wedding from Carlsberg. 060404 lytzenhoff (27), Fuen, Denmark
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 1, 2004 Thin/light pale color, sharp aroma with lemon tones. Light bitter taste, that dosn’t stay very long. Not anything special, but, I think its better that Carlsberg brewed this celebration-beer, than if they just have been passive. Carlsberg’s attempt to make a beer with champagne-like qualities ... hmmm - I’m not a big fan of real champagne (price considered), but I’d definitely prefer real champagne for a celebration, if Carlsberg Crown were the best beer on offer. Fruity but not very strong aroma, bubbly/fizzy fruity flavour, not offensive but far from interesting. Alcohol is well hidden (behind what??). I’m not a monarchist, but I think the happy couple deserved something better than this. larsniclas (3386), Gothenburg, Sweden

Rather fresh flavour with some maltiness and late bitterness. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark
