| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 14, 2009 Bottle - Pours pale yellow with a skimming of bubbles for a head. Sweet aroma with hops and ight malt. Flavour starts off sweet then the alcohol hits followed by grainy malt and a lingering dry finish. The alcohol hit is a bit harsh and masks any other flavours. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Has some fruity sweetness in the aroma as well as lots and lots of alcohol. It’s not a bad fragrance however, and is definitely inviting. Looks pretty good too, with a soft gold colour and head that slow dissipates. Not too fast and not too slow, and little bubbles coming up at a steady pace. The taste is another thing, though: taste like wet socks, skunky hops, lots of alcohol. Has a semi-dry finish with a hint of yuck. Worth the extra alcohol kick if you can stand the taste, but this is by no means a good example of a strong beer. jesperhammer (325), Copenhagen, Denmark

Tasted blind, with no clue to what it might be.
The others guess cheap pilsner. We have been drinking micro brew all day, so it is dificult to catch anything in this beer.
It is golden with little head.
some malt and sweetness, corn and a little bitterness in the end.
The thing that leads me to say it is not a pilsner, but a stronger beer is the density. It is surely higher than most pilsners.
I still do not have a clue that this is an elephant. It is slightly dissappointing, but then again my taste buds are calibrated to more non-standard stuff.
Quite OK beer, and I have had this so many times in the past, and still cannot nail it:-( MmmcKay (286), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA

En förhållandevis enkel lager, renons på finesser och djup; smakbilden är tydlig, målad i breda drag. Alkoholsmaken träder fram, balanserar till det mindre angenäma, men lyckas ändå förkläda den över förväntan för att vara över sju procent.
