I won’t forget this beer because of the taste it left in my mouth. Wouldn’t buy or drink this one again. rodneykm (109), Westminster, South Carolina, USA

I’ve had many pale lagers that are much better than this guy is. Was expensive too - 9 dollars for a six pack. Ouch. I’ll pay 6 dollars for a 6 pack of Yuengling and be in better shape. In New York, these are 2 bucks for an 11.2 ounce bottle. I won’t be buying more at that price. There is a brassy color and a light head. The aroma is moderately yeasty with a little spice. It is velvety with a light burr on the tongue. Is this the same as Beer Chang (also made by Carlsberg), which I enjoyed a great deal in Thailand? This is one of the best malt liquors I can think of, but it is not worlds above the cheap junk. It is not very interesting, but they don’t skimp on the alcohol - it makes for solid drinking. cab (863), Denmark

Head is super thick, and hangs on for dear life a long, long time. Smells of sweet metallic flowers. Tastes very sweet. Surprisingly the high alcohol content doesn’t show. No burn in the throat or corn flavor. Has a bitter but pleasant after-taste. This is malty, but you can’t really taste the malt. You can see it and feel it, but not taste it. Strange.
This isn’t bad and at $2.19 for a 4 pack of 16.9 ounce cans (Woodmans in Kenosha, WI on 08/29/2007) it makes a Jim Dandy alcohol delivery system.
