Gold in colour, with a white head. Horribly shitty astringent malt flavours. Harsh, unrefined and undrinkable. wunderbier (1271), Tampere, Finland
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2005 A glowing medium yellow-gold hue with a tall, creamy and rocky white head. There a lot of strange aromas going on in here...hay, sugar, fusels, corn, alcohol, dust, uncooked broccoli. Distinctly sweet flavor with a tangy acidity and a light finishing bitterness. The sugary sweetness keeps this beer’s head above water for me. Moderate alcohol. Off flavors are limited to the odd aromas, but are never truly offensive even when the beer warms. Medium body with a creamy texture that’s somewhat broken up by fizzy carbonation. darkko (99), Kingsport, Tennessee, USA

Very mellow, with good hop bitterness. The more you drink, the better it gets. Had this in France on tap. Pretty good stuff. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA

| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Aug 16, 2005 Goddam green bottle. Clear gold color, medium white head. Go figure, it’s skunky as hell. This bottle wasn’t even that old and I picked it out from the back of the fridge so the light didn’t have too much of a chance to effect it but it sure did. This was rancid anyway, harsh, thick and very rough around the edges. Alcohol is noticible and not welcome. Ugh. skortila (2914), Bunnik, Netherlands
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 14, 2005 Aroma of malts and hops, bit skunky. Clear, yellow coloured with a lasting, thin, white head. Taste is sweet, malty and hoppy. A bit alcohol in the finish but overall reasonable hidden. Not too bad for a malt liquor. I expected worse.
