| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 2, 2009 Perhaps they ought to sell this in nips, because I was pretty happy with the first half of the bottle, and not so much with the second. Pours a clear golden color with lots of bubbles. Aroma is of skunk, hay, and some odd sweat, This is like some sort of pilsner malt liquor clone. Tastes very crisp and very straight forward, that is to say nothing particularly exciting. There are the classic grainy flavors of the good European lagers and it’s well balanced but the bitterness is weird at first it’s very nicely hoppy but then the bitterness just lends it’s self to a burnt rubber chemical character that is not so great. There is a mild alcohol in the flavor and the texture is a little watery. grandgenie (252), gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Merci! chandler0201 (358), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Gold pour with strong malty aroma and light skunky taste. Better taste than most lagers, and some bonus for alcohol content, but otherwise nothing special. TheGrandMaster (1872), Auckland, New Zealand
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 23, 2009 Bottle (in NZ). A dark gold with a fizzy head. Strong malty aroma, but with a chemical hardness. Drinks OK - a lot of that maltiness on the palate, though I didn’t find it too sweet, and a earthy bitterness. wheelz843 (211), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
