Until just now, I kind of liked this beer here at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, Wis. But now upon closer examination, it seems a little thin and lame. Does have some head and lace. Pale yellow gold color. Faint beery aroma. Some hops in flavor, slightly bittersweet finish. semiotic (12), Walton Hills, Ohio, USA

It reminds me of when I first tried a sip of my Dad’s beer in the 50’s, when i was ust a little shaver. Not a heavy beer, but it has that hoppy, slightly metallic taste that I crave. It’s usually about $6.99/six pk. around NE Ohio, MelbBrewersJD (32), Australia

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 28, 2008 average beer. below average flavor. clear in color and there really isn’t anything else to say, except that I will avoid this beer next time. Odyn (221), New York, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Updated: May 27, 2008This rating will probably change, but the last few times I have bought Carlsberg it has been horribly skunky. As I recall it is a beer that I like, though right now it is in the "drink-it-to-make-room-in-the-beer-fridge&quo category. WickerBrew (312), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Once again its just beer, nothing at all exciting. Save your money unless its on special and get a Bud. Way too much better Euro stuff out there to drink this. hrossrm (20), Maine, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Poured from bottle. Clear with a pale golden color and lively carbonation which delivers a long-lasting head. Smells of flowery ganja. Thin mouthfeel, but well balanced with a sweet, smooth finish. Not the "best beer in the world," as they proclaim on cans in Europe, but a decent lager. stef7321 (15), Williamsburg, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 22, 2008 Some beers are better in certain scenarios. I don’t really like to go out to the bar and order $15 Rocheforts on a regular basis, so as an old standby, Carlsberg provides a refreshing change of pace from the typical Heineken crowd, and has a nice mouth feel to go along with decent flavor when served chilled.
