Dec 4, 2007 Bottle. Nose is slightly sour maltiness, but not too over-anything really. Mouth is much more of the malty, some smoky and fresh hop tones towards the end. Bit watery and straightforward.

Nov 8, 2007 Updated: Dec 17, 2009Draught. Fine and short creamy white head. Pale yellow with a fair amount of carbonation. Slightly hoppy & slightly fruity aroma with notes of grain and cardboard. Bit of sweetness, touch of bitterness in the finish. Short but refreshing on the palate - light body, strong carbonation.

Oct 31, 2007 Bottled. Pours piss colored with a white head. Aroma is powerfully skunky. The aroma is so strong I can smell it from the table as if it were right under my nose. As I bring it closer for a real wiff, I pick up some beef jerky and smoke notes. Flavor as the slightest hint of smoke to it. Medium malt body. Semi-sweet, with the smoke notes coming out slightly more as you go. Certainly one of the best if not the best pale lager(s) I have had.

Oct 31, 2007 Can. Slightly sweet malt nose with a touch of apple. Clear bright yellow with active carbonation and a patchy head. Flavor is mild and vaguely sour. No depth, but nothing foul. Probably not the best beer in the world.

Oct 30, 2007 Bottle. One of those few good macro pale lagers. Slightly sweet, nice body, rough finish. Really enjoyed it.
