Otherwise it’s just a corn water yellow lager. Smells of skunk-n-latex. Infact, it smells like a freshly opened condom. Go figure. Tastes like metal. Like that taste you get when you have several X-rays at the same time. It’s, um. It’s not good. Denmark version, purchased at liquor store in W. Allis, Wisconsin 11/11/2006.

Ok lets try to be diplomatic here - metallic - sterile and just plane boring. La la la - brian jonestown massacre rule - ahh - what was I talking about??? zombywoof (358), Shawnee, Kansas, USA

I haven’t drank this for awhile....now I remember why. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Nov 2, 2006 "By appointment to the royal danish court". I kid you not, that is exactly what it says on the case, accompanied by "possibly the best beer in the world." Very watery beer, lacks any sort of real flavour. It is a drinkable watery beer, but that is as far as it goes. The head is white and the palate is non-existent. I would drink it for free, but for the price, I have a much better selection to pick from. mansquito (827), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 1, 2006 I’ve had both the English and the Danish versions of this beer. They say it might be the best beer on Earth. Yeah, and Budweiser is the king of beers. Overall, not too bad. It is a rather pale beer, with a metallic aftertaste. I drank it really cold and it really went down smoothly. rw4244 (128), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Nov 1, 2006 Can 50cl. Poured pale gold with a frothy white head which slowly fades. No real aroma, a hint of malt & hops. Sharp metallic hop flavour, slightly citrus. No real finish, just watery perhaps a touch of bitterness. Quite unpleasant unless its really cold. Medium palate, not as watery as most macrobrew lagers. Average lager, though one of the better macros you get on tap in your standard pub. Mirage52 (127), New Market, Maryland, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 30, 2006 Pours a golden color with a white poofy head. Very little carbonation. Might be a little flat from the trip across the Atlantic. Tastes watery, hardly any bubbles on the tongue. Slight bitter aftertaste, but overall a nice easy drinking lager that should be better when fresh.
