~Dusty hop scent, a bit skunky with mild malts in aroma.
~Corn and water taste. Malts for sweetness. Hops slightly noticeable.
~Light to medium feel. Smooth. Sweet finish.
~Lame beer. I will drink it. Just boring and bland. derkaiser (24), Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 3, 2009 Not a very luxurious beer, but I enjoy it the most at an outdoor bar or beer garden during the summer months. Just something about this beer and those conditions. Cirrhosis (623), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 3, 2009 This review was done from beer on tap, golden yellow and crystal clear is the color of the beer with a suprisingly thick white head. The smell is terrific but dosn’t really match the sent of your typical lager, mellow with banana’s and nuts makes this brew smell great but strange for the style. The taste is a disappointment, stale, slightly skunky, and strong tasting rotten malts. Not a bad mouth feel but nothing special. The beer isn’t horrible but unless this is given to me I wont drink it. Gypsy19 (655), California, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 1, 2009 Pours a banana-gold with a small frothy head. Aroma is par with other Western European pale lagers, which isn’t saying much. It’s mostly of cereal, in other words, and vague. Flavor is quite decent; Robust for a lager. You can actually taste malt and hop. Not profoundly so, but this one actually has flavor. Mouthfeel is spritzy, and thicker than most lagers. Not a bad pale at all. One could do a lot worse with pale lager. Overall, good minus. JanEric (208), Meppel, Netherlands

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | May 30, 2009 (Draught at Old English Pub, Copenhagen, 24 May 2009) Golden colour with brief, white head. Malty, grassy nose with notes of bread, hay and a touch of butter. Malty, bready taste with grass, bread and a short finish with modest bitterness. Fairly thin body with some malt sweetness throughout. Well, it’s not awful but definitely boring. Tried it at Vinstue 90, Copenhagen, on the same day. They serve it with a slow pour, it takes 10-15 minutes. It gives a firmer, rocky head and a more fresh aroma with slightly more hints of grassy hops and toffee. Slightly better, but it’s still Carlsberg. alepig666 (78), Adelaide, Australia

A good thing to drink on a liver destroying bender, as it doesn’t remotely bloat you. There’s at least 100 beers I’d prefer, but it’s not going to kill you with shittiness at least. Meh.
