DeanF (285), Paris, France Aug 12, 2009 Aroma is not disagreeable, but not special either. Smells like fermented grains, some alcohol. Looks very average as well, pours with almost no head to speak of. Lots of bubbles going up, looks a lot like pop too. Has okay flavour for a light beer, strong malts flavour and not at all watery. Feels good on the mouth too. An above average light beer that actually tastes like beer, which isn’t a bad thing. AWS9 (222), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Jul 15, 2009 Bottle. Gold, with frothy head. Light, clean, and empty. Pretty much hits the mark in terms of light beers. Not offensive at least. KnutAlbert (3110), Oslo, Norway May 13, 2009 Bottle.
Light and watery, yes, but they have managed to keep some of the flavour and hoppy crispness in this one. Tehre are far worse beers in the Carlsberg stable, even with much higher alcohol content. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 6, 2009 Bottle at home.
Clear yellow coloured with a medium sized white head.
Aroma of malts, grain, hay and metal with notes of hops.
Flavour of malts, metal and hops, but not much flavour.
Watery.
OK for a low alcohol.
KimJohansen (6676), Copenhagen V, Denmark Dec 31, 2008 Clear golden with medium off white head. Sweet and somewhat malty aroma and grainy aroma. Sweet flavour with hints of malt and cardboard. Could have been worse... fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Oct 30, 2008 Bottle 33cl. @ home. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy notes. Flavor is light moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (160808) Stefano (1322), Esbjerg, Denmark Jun 25, 2008 Golden colour with a white head. Malty week aroma. Watery flavor and metallic aftertaste. Very thin body. Pinball (2693), Allerød, Denmark Jun 12, 2008 What can i say - tasted better than a carlsberg 4.7%. looked great too, with nice head - and was refreshing. sweet flavor. totally underrated for a low alc. beer.
