Commercial Description:
Bottle and keg; Filtered.
Carlsberg Light replaced Carlsberg Let in January 2003.
Carlsberg Light is a light golden beer. The aroma is fresh and malty. The beer has a discreet sourness, a low alcohol content and a fine slim body. Carlsberg Light has lots of Pilsener flavour, but less alcohol. That makes Carlsberg Light the ideal lunch beer.

Bottled, pasteurised, 330ml. Pale gold with fizzed head. Light on just about everything apart from the pocket. Weak malty lager, poor, sweet with total lack of hop note. Not for me.

(33 cl bottle purchased in Denmark) Clear pale golden color, big white head. Thin sweet malty scent. Also a bit stale. Bigger body than I expected! Still a bit to the thin side. Taste is very weak, malty sweet with some metals. Some bitterness, but not much. Would work rather ok for a day of driving in the hot sun.

Yellow, no head. Bad hoppy aroma, watery flavor with everything you, unfortunately, can expect from beers like this one.

I am ashamed of how much I enjoy this beer. It has something I can’t figure out about it that I like.

Bottle. Head was average foamy white and was quickly goon. Slight lacing in glass. Body was clear light sparkling. Aroma was light malt and hops. Light bodied with a very thin texture and a soft carbonation. Slightly sweet flavour. Light bitter-sweet finish.
