Commercial Description:
Bottle and keg; Filtered.
Carlsberg Light replaced Carlsberg Let in January 2003.
Carlsberg Light is a light golden beer. The aroma is fresh and malty. The beer has a discreet sourness, a low alcohol content and a fine slim body. Carlsberg Light has lots of Pilsener flavour, but less alcohol. That makes Carlsberg Light the ideal lunch beer.

Golden colour with a thin white head. Mostly hoppy aroma with grassy notes. Thin watery taste with only a light maltyness and a light bitter finish.

Gold/yellow body with a thin white head. Smell is pale malts and dry, bitter hops. Taste is watery, leafy and not very good. As descriptin says, there is not much alcohol here. I can’t remember the last time I had an O’Douls but I’m sure it had more flavor than this.

Bottled: Golden coloured. Medium sized white fluffy head. Aroma is light sweet and metallic. Flavour is very light hopped and light grassy. Flavours is very bland and the body watery and thin. Has nothing whatsoever resempling an impact on your palate. Beer like this, is why I seldom drink low alcohol beers.

Am I being fair here in saying that this beer sucks? I can not help but think that I am. Ugh!

Tap@Louisianna Museum. This was the only thing they had on tap, i hadn’t had, so i decided to give it a go, very thin sweet and grainy, luckily i only got a small glass.

Medium though disappearing head, golden body. Little malt and hops in the flavor, actually all right for a low alcohol beer. Flavor is dominated by a malty sourness and is quite thin and watery. Tastes like a young pilsener. Not very good.

Blond color. Light corn-paper aroma. Really thin, with a quite strong ending bitterness, but a too evident alcohol touch.
