Commercial Description:
Bottle and keg; Filtered.
Carlsberg Light replaced Carlsberg Let in January 2003.
Carlsberg Light is a light golden beer. The aroma is fresh and malty. The beer has a discreet sourness, a low alcohol content and a fine slim body. Carlsberg Light has lots of Pilsener flavour, but less alcohol. That makes Carlsberg Light the ideal lunch beer.

Little bit of a hoppy start, but a good finnish.

What can i say - tasted better than a carlsberg 4.7%. looked great too, with nice head - and was refreshing. sweet flavor. totally underrated for a low alc. beer.

Bottle. Light and watery, yes, but they have managed to keep some of the flavour and hoppy crispness in this one. Tehre are far worse beers in the Carlsberg stable, even with much higher alcohol content.

Aroma is not disagreeable, but not special either. Smells like fermented grains, some alcohol. Looks very average as well, pours with almost no head to speak of. Lots of bubbles going up, looks a lot like pop too. Has okay flavour for a light beer, strong malts flavour and not at all watery. Feels good on the mouth too. An above average light beer that actually tastes like beer, which isn’t a bad thing.

I am ashamed of how much I enjoy this beer. It has something I can’t figure out about it that I like.

Blond beer wtih a small head. Clear hop aroma. Light bitter taste. Quite ok for a low alcohol beer.

Pale golden, white head. Malty sweet flavour, almost no hops, vague notes of yeast
