Nice grainy and bready aroma. Hay and grain flavour. Very clean. Some refreshing bitterness in the finish. Light bodied. Very fresh and tasty. Also good because it makes you less fat and drunk than normal Carlsberg. mabel (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Dark yellow body with a long-lasting creamy white head. More grainy toast in the flavour. Medium body. Fair and drinkable, not quite horrible -- plus Toronto won! Ahh, sweet victory.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 19, 2009 500mL can from the BS, for shits n’ giggles. Pours a nice golden colour with a large white head, a deeper, more normal shade of gold than most other shitty ’lite’ beers which usually look like seltzer water. The aroma is nowhere near as offensive as I thought it might be, just minor grainy pale malts with a small touch of skunk, suggesting there may have actually been real hops used in the brewing process. The flavour is very faint and fizzy but decent enough for what it is, okay pale malts, refreshing a crisp. Not as nauseating as I was worried it would be. Some tinny hops and a salty spriz round out the experience. Not anywhere near as bad as it could be. Kavu (108), Jyväskylä, Finland
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 24, 2008 A bit ugly head, but otherwise looks just like normal Carlsberg. There’s very little difference in the aroma and flavour too. If you drink your beer cold, you might as well switch the ordinary Carlsberg to this. Surprisingly good for a light beer. yespr (12313), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 13, 2008 33 cL can. Pours clear yellow with a lasting white head. Light sweet malt aroma with a whiff of bitterhops. Flavour is light sweet malt flavour followed by the classic Carlsberg "yeast" note. Dry finish with a light bitterness. Slightly thiner in flavour than a classic Carlsberg - but surely better than the Tuborg version. Papsoe (15091), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 2, 2009 Can 33 cl. Clear pale golden with a creamy white and lacing head. Lightly metallic nose. Light body, very dry and lightly malty with a fairly bitter finish. 310509 Ungstrup (15337), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 12, 2008 Can. A golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of grain and some hops. The flavor is somewhat sweet with strong notes of grain and some cardboard and hops. The body is weak. Not totally bad, just boring. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 7, 2008 Bottle from The Beer Store- Pale, pale gold with a frothy white cap that laces and leaves some retention. Nose is weak, diluted pale malts with grains, corn husk, and a bit of floral hops. Taste is weak sweet pale malts with grains and some diluted floral hops. Just a pinch of a biscuit discernment towards the slightly bitter, watery finish. Clean and not offensive, but the lack of most qualities make this one sub-par.
