Commercial Description:

Bottle at Chris_o birthday bash 08. Clear clean gold with thin beige head. Bit syrupy but you know what? It’s not horrible. OK a bit pukey on the malts. Syrupy and hot alcohol. Crude and unsubtle.

Blond color. Poor aroma. It’s a oily and quite burning Strong Lager, with a strong bitterness. Booze.

A Mes rate: Bottle at the Oi Oi Saveloy tasting at Chris O’s.
Dark gold with a thin white film. Corn and cereal with plenty of sweetness and hardly any alcohol in the aroma. Flavour is more of the same and... Oh GOD there is the alcohol! It’s alcohol syrup and pretty rough for it. Still I’m happy to have it as it ticks off all the styles for me. For the second time I might add after whatever the other malt liquor I had was changed to a different style!

Too alcoholic and too sweet. The meaning of this beer is to be manly and whatever... But the result is a beer that you shouldn’t buy. Have a nice Belgian Bush in stead - a bit alike and much better.

(BBE 1/08) Light orange colored with lively carbonation, medium sized white head. Sweet and raisinny, somehow even Barley winish aroma with also some caramel, still too strong alcohol here, I think this has aged well. Medium to full bodied. Flavor starts also with this swewet raisins and fruits, aftertaste turns to alcoholic with some cardboard and dry hops. Well, surprisingly good.

Bottle from MiP, thanks! Golden color. Grainy, somewhat vegetable-like aroma. Grainy but warm alcoholic flavor with hints of peach and vegetables. Soft soapy bitterness in the short finish.
