Aroma is predominantly alcohol with a little note of sweet malt in the background. Sweet malty flavor - again with a whip of alcohol. The finish is once again dominated by - yes - alcohol. Has none of the elegance found in other strong beertypes. faroeviking (6123), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Nov 11, 2006 More or less a barly wine due to it´s strongness. Not for the weak at hearted. In my opion only drinkable when very cold. A favorite amongst alcoholics, or so i´ve heard. Theis (3771), Denmark

Strongest beer from Valby, but not the best, allthough it is better than expected. Some sweetness and notes of fruit makes this beer good for monster drinking. flemmingwillum (245), København S, Denmark
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Aug 11, 2006 Bottle: Very beautiful golden colour. The aroma is just sweetness from the malts, and with a lot of alcohol. Just like a very strong danish pilsner. The taste is very dominated by the acridness and the (burning) warmth from the alcohol, but some malt can be recognized. The unpleasant alcohol-taste in the beer continues in the aftertaste, which has a fair amount of hops. The beer isn’t very full-bodied for it’s 10,5% and I would rather have a Harboe Årgangsbryg. gnoff (3574), Göteborg, Sweden

Fruity and alcoholic scent. Very full palate. Strong taste, warming alcohol. Hard to detect bitterness due to the alcohol high precence.
