Flavour reminds me of vodka - no doubt thanks to the high alcohol percentage and Carlsberg’s inability to brew strong beers that are actually drinkable. Not a whole lot inspiring. Has some licorice feel to the aftertaste, for some (odd) reason. Thick/oily palate - in a bad way. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

White head which disappears quickly. The beer looks quite flat. Very peppery and semi-sweet flavour, thick mouthfeel. The aftertaste is more peppery than bitter. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 4, 2004 SWEET and pretty alcoholic. A powerful beer but the sweetness is way too overwhelming and one-dimensional. Serve it cold and e.g. as an aperitif with a slice of lemon. ChristianScheffel (4679), Odense, Denmark
