Commercial Description:

A light amber colored beer without much head and not much aroma. But it has a powerful filling taste with malt sweetness and a light fruitiness. The high alcohol content can only slightly be tasted.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pretty, dark golden with a creamy head leaving a handsome lacework. Incredible alcohol glow and full body. Fruity sweetness balanced by a distinct hoppy bitterness. But a hard beer to finish. 201001

33 cL bottle. Pours golden orange and clear with a diminishing white head. Slight sweet corn aroma with an alcohol presence. Full bodied. Thick caramel malty flavour with a slight sweetness and clear leveled upwards by alcohol without becoming burning only a bit warming. Warming slight malty finish. A very berry like notes throughout. This was my favourite at the 1996 beer election by Carlsberg, perhaps partly because we (I and my best buddy Carsten) could get this for 10 dkr at A-vej/KVL (incl. the official master brew drinking-glass I still have), 4 beers later and our friday was fullfilled. I rarely drink this today, but it certainly is well brewed.

Bottle. Clear amber color with a small fizzy fair lacing off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light yeasty, fruit, sweet, alcoholic. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic.

Bottle. Very peppery, metallic aroma. Medium dark, yellow colour. White head which disappears quickly. The beer looks quite flat. Very peppery and semi-sweet flavour, thick mouthfeel. The aftertaste is more peppery than bitter.

Bottle at home. Clear golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and alcohol with notes of honey. Sweet flavour of caramel and alcohol with notes of hops. Burning alcoholic finish. Much too alcoholic.

Blond color. Poor aroma. It’s a oily and quite burning Strong Lager, with a strong bitterness. Booze.

Amber with tiny head. Aroma has alcohol notes. Flavor is sweet and fruity with dominat alcohol note. Maybe it’s good after 15 years in the cellar...
