Sweetish nose with a big whiff of alcohol, rich gold color, tall spongy head. Sweet honey malt and maybe something like raspberry in the background. A faint tinge of hops at the very end. Alcohol is very noticeable in the swallow. Full rich body and a creamy mouthfeel. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours golden orange and clear with a diminishing white head. Slight sweet corn aroma with an alcohol presence. Full bodied. Thick caramel malty flavour with a slight sweetness and clear leveled upwards by alcohol without becoming burning only a bit warming. Warming slight malty finish. A very berry like notes throughout. This was my favourite at the 1996 beer election by Carlsberg, perhaps partly because we (I and my best buddy Carsten) could get this for 10 dkr at A-vej/KVL (incl. the official master brew drinking-glass I still have), 4 beers later and our friday was fullfilled. I rarely drink this today, but it certainly is well brewed. pivnizub (5014), Bochum, Porúří, Germany
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Bottle: Deep golden, clear, creamy and lacy white head of an extreme stability; solid bisquity nose with a strong vinous (Chardonnay) and alcoholic background; very solid sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied; bisquits in the fruity-bitter finish with a warming touch of brandy. Can’t help it, I liked it anyway........ HansJM (358), Norway

I voted for this beer during the danish beer selection in the 90’ties.
I have had this several times since, mostly when in need to get pissed very fast.
And it still works;-)
I should not have tried to rate this. I should just have enjoyed the buzz from the half litre can, and I would have been happy, but oh no, I needed the rating of course, and that sort of ruins the fun:-(
Dark golden with white head. Not much nose, some sweet alcohol, and a little fruit and malt, but nothing remarkable.
Malty and fruity notes on the palate, and a slight bitterness but very little hops in comparison to alcohol. I like high alcohol beers, but this is maybe the only quality in this beer?
Quite malty, low to medium carbonation, and an oily texture. Quite sweet and alcoholic, oh did I already say that? Well, it does work its magic, and I will gladly drink it again. GreatDane (100), Ballerup, Denmark
