Smagt 18/04 2008. Den er ikke som en typisk abbey ale, denne er lidt humlet det gør den naturligvis mere frisk, men ikke lige hvad jeg forbinder med en abbey ale.

The aroma has figs, prunes and perhaps some metal. The flavor also has prunes and peraps some candi sugar. The head is not very good.

Dark brown with medium beige head. Sweet malty aroma with yeast and overripe fruits. Flavor is sweet with roasted malt, yeast, prunes and caramel. Go for the originals...

Bottle. Brown colour with mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel and some dried fruits. Flavor likewise. Average finish. Well made beer - but somewhat mainstream.

Bottle @ Jacobsen Brewhouse. This was a vintage 2003. Small fizzy light beige head that mostly diminished. Muddy brown color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of yeast with a moderated notes of fruit, some underlying caramel and some dried fruity notes like prune, date and fig. Very smooth feel, maybe coursed by the vintage? Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor. Sweet and fruity finish.
