Aroma is yeasty and alcohol. Yeast is both Carlsbergensis and something else. Taste is rather caramelly/malty and yeasty, some fruit notes too. Weak belgian - but a good beer afterall. jazzmaster (21), Denmark

Well balaced contribution from residual sugars and alcohol in the taste charlotte (2036), Vanløse, Denmark

Malt, milk chocolate, pear and a hint of cinnamon in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with pear and milk chocolate. Some roasty notes in the far background. Almost medium bodied. A very fruity interpretation of the type. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 26, 2007 A good attempt from Carlsberg to "be" something belgian, but it still needs something to reach its goal. Something massive, then you know what I mean! thewolf (5808), Kolding, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 26, 2007 Pours muddy brown with sides of red. Head is is only lasting a few seconds, then dwindling to a fine film. Aroma is initially a bit vinious (perhaps it’s too cold?). Flavour is sweet with loads of caramel. An okay citric bitterness creeps in at the last note. Adenila (952), Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 21, 2007 brown/red appearence with an ok white head. Not as hazy as i would have expected an unfiltered abbey ale to be. Arome is yeast and some vague wild berry, not impressive, but the flavor is really good. Mainly sweet with some sourness to balance it out. Long lasting tastefull finish. One of the few Carlsberg productions i’d recomment. faroeviking (6123), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
