Some fruit, some sweetness, even some metallic taste reminding of hefe-weissen from Bayern. It’s OK, but not worth the high price. Sofajoern (146), Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2006 I’ve been wanting to rate this for quite some time as it is probably the beer, that sparked off my beer interest, and it really isn’t too bad although I’ve since had many both better and more interesting beers - a good first step though.
Brown beer with a small pale head, that quickly faded.
Slight touch of hops in the aroma, which is dominated by sweet malts and bananas. Surprisingly watery which I suppose will make it very easily drinkable, but my own palate now goes towards heavier brews. Notes of toffee, malts and (again) bananas in the flavour. Hardly any finish to it.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2006 Hazy and red-brown body, with a fresh aroma with hints of hops and fruit. A soft flavor with hops and hops, that unfortunatly never reaches the far corner of the mouth. A good danish beer inspired by the belgian abbey ales. ogivlado (3070), Zagreb, Croatia
