Commercial Description:

Bottled. A light amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very malty combined with lighter notes of yeast, caramel, and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of stored fruits, alcohol, and caramel, as well as lighter notes of yeast, spices, and metal, leading to a dry metallic finish.

66 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a lacing white head, fully diminished in 2 minutes. Aroma is mild cornish and vaguely spiced. Dry and slight fruity base flavour, reminds me more of a filtered German helles than a Belgian blonde, but I guess the name Blonde Bier gives that away. Light bitterness and yet smooth caramel malty finish.

EBF2008. It’s warm golden and the aroma has sweetness and notes of malt and spice. The flavour has sweetness and notes of spice, yeast, candy sugar, fruit, malt and a little citrus. Not my favourite, but clear a beer that will please a lot of people.
