Poured a murky brown with an off-white head. Spicy aroma of anise and cinnamon though with a touch of bubble gum that I found unappealing. Taste is sweet and spicy caramel and cloves with a dry finish. Pretty straight-forward christmas ale. hopdog (5614), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Muddy dark brown. Toffee, sugar and alcohol in aroma. Fruity, rich malty, fluffy mouthfeel, fiery alcohol flavour/mouthfeel with notes of anise and also a little peppery from the big abv. Pretty long finish.
