| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 4, 2008 Being not that fond of sempder ardens, i was surprised by this christmas ale. It is definetly in the top 25% of christmas ales i have tasted this year. It is uncomplicated and extremely well balanced. If You like an uncomplicated, but very good christmas brew, this is a good choice. Alc.% is quite high, but you won’t notice until you try to walk around. The brew is good enough to be able to handle 8.3%. larsniclas (3390), Gothenburg, Sweden
