The dried fruits are apperant in the taste as well, but the caramalt are detectable too. Finishes a little dry with just enough hops to make it work. Ok beer ThomasMik (27), Aarhus, Denmark

Its a mahogany red beer, with a nice and creamy head. The mouthfeel is rather oily, and the aroma has sweetness, notes of raisins and plum. The flavour has a lot of dark fruits like raisins, plums, fig, roasted malt, cane sugar, nuts and coriander in the finish. A nice beer indeed! cheeta (904), Langå, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 30, 2007 Sale in Netto: 1$ (5kr) per piece, as it is past it’s season. The beer pours an and opague very delicious looking colour (brown with red tones), and it looks unfiltered allthough I can’t imagine it actually is. The head looks OK, not rough, neither silk like, but a little more than medium what’s concerned to both it’s appearance and duration. The aroma has notes of yeast and hops plus a lot of different (belgian) fruits. The flavor that has nice notes of berries and much other belgian stuff; among them cristmassy spices and maybe nuts, is accompanied by a good hoppiness the entire way through. The alcohol isn’t very obvious for a 8,3% beer, but the palate is as full-bodied and creamy as one could wish. Brilliant for a Carlsberg. movern (1), Denmark does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 30, 2007 Store it a year or two - and it will become REALLY good instead of just good . scania (184), Malmö, Sweden
