Extreamly good beer - I have to buy a lot of them and save them in my basement.
The label on the bottle is very nice but has nothing christmas look-alike. MikeogHen (16), Denmark

Bottled.
Complex spiciness. Cloves and orange. Malt bodied but with a alcohol/carbonation dry profile that suits x-mas food well. saxo (3644), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Bottle. Hazy chestnut brown with creamy off white head. Complex, fruity and spicy aroma with vinous notes and a bit of old dust. Flavor is very sweet and one dimensional compared to the aroma - but still very tasty. Notes of caramel, milk chocolate and burned sugar. The alcohol is not present. Creamy mouth feel and a lot lighter carbonated than other beers from SA which I like. Too sweet for me which will probably improve with some cellaring, which is good since I bought a bunch of these, when they were on sale in my local supermarket ;-)
One of the three best Danish Christmas beers this year! stouby (1955), Holbaek, Denmark

Sweet taste of burnt malt and caramel. Hops with a taste of flowers. Notes of toffee, brown sugar and nuts. Brown with light brown head, most lasting. Sweet and bitter finish, well balanced. Perfect Christmas Ale, though to strong in alcohol. FrankJohansen (3370), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark
