Maybe CUB can make good beer? Of course I doubt we will this in production again given the reason behind its genesis. Looks the goods; foamy white head and a very nice maroon hue. Nose shows a slightly distracting piney note (that I do sometimes associate with faults) but nevertheless shows a good fresh lift. The flavours are also impacted a touch by the piney note but not enough tht I can’t look through it. Medium weight with some toffee malts and a decent bitter kick late. No doubt has class but not convinced he bottle is in great nick.
