Awful, but not the worst beer made by Fosters. Nose is slight wet cardboard, but instead of the soulless flavour of corn syrup, the high alcohol gives it almost a mild malt liquor type body. There is something wierd going on in the aftetaste. I would agree there is almost a mint finish, but whether it is intentional or a by product of cheap ingredients remains to be seen.

Yes its pretty bad, but better than Carlton Cold. The alcohol content at least gives it some content. There is some odd cool mint in the aftertaste and a very odd sharpish tingling on the palate. Very strange... a nasty chemical experiment, not a beer.

I am fucking dumbfounded. This horse piss, and I apologise to horses urine world wide that these fucking idiots at the Carlton camp can concoct utter crap in a bottle. This shit is so damn bad that you would have to be on acid or fucking ice or some other chemical to drink it. Steer clear of Carltons new fuckup.

Why are West Ozzie’s first to be subjected to such travesties of the beer world? Far removed from the rest of the country are we the ’Guinea Pigs’, the plebs whose judgement all shite beers depend upon, before hitting the shelves of the east coast. Or are we just the unlucky first to whinge about it on the ’Net. Dropped off by a rep for me to sample. Pours typically gold, thinly looking. A single eddy of bubbles up the centre miss the idea completely as it is totally void of head. There is a little next-day-vomit-on-the-lino’ about the nose. It’s lifted by a fairy-floss sweetness and some undertones of its nasty, chemical, little brother. Sloppy, soapy, and drabby is the near poisonous palate. Artificial sweetener and some Listerine-like mouthwash, minty notes dominate a nearly flavourless abyss of dirty-laundry liquor and subtle oxidised metals. Sweet, tangy astringency on the swallow, drops off quickly, some rancid tinniness with, yes, a little mouthwash and alcohol burn deep. Gets nasty, heavy and more acrid as it warms. The mint becomes annoying as it lingers long. Mouthwash companies warn us not to imbibe on their product, why should we drink this??? Whatever happened to malt and hops? Are the big two so pathetic that they would honestly push this pitiful beverage onto us thinking we will just sap it up??? Idiots!!! (355mL, 17Mar08)

Another new beer from Fosters! Guaranteed to be a well crafted brew! Yeh right!! This is made to take on Tooheys Platinum ,pity they can’t just try to make a decent beer for once. The secret ingredient is supposed to give a sort of cool mint taste just after swallowing. To me anything that is supposed to be drunk real cold just hides all the characters in the taste, this one hasn’t got any to hide.
