Aroma is of fresh grain and, er, metal. Quite nice gold in colour with a small head of foam. The flavour is sweet and light while the finish is here today, gone...today. Not great.

Pretty lower end scale beer. Soft fizz with a high yeast taste. It's one of the beers you drink after you're drunk.

Re-rate: This is worse than I remember. I had to drink 2 tonight. Oh dear, I can't believe I haven't rated this until now. Upon tasting it I remember, I forgot. That is it is an eminently forgettable beer. If only they could improve it somehow, a shot of vodka maybe?

It is so hard to find a new beer on this damned island that even though I knew it would suck, I just had to give it a go. Overly carbonated, gold with a thin creamy head. Smells of corn flakes and paint thinner and doesn't taste much different (As I've never had corn flakes and paint thinner, yes....it's a guess) As much as I enjoy beer for brunch, this ones going down the drain.

Bottled. This beer was something of a phenomenon when it was first released in Sydney, it was the beer that every pleb had to have. Fools fort over cases of the stuff. It’s never been a good beer to drink though. If you’re desperate for a rate and are trying a bottle for the first time, my recommendation would be to serve it frozen. It looks better that way and you have none of the issues of aroma, flavour or taste to worry about.
