Commercial Description:
Carlton Cold was launched in 1993 and enjoys a significant share of the packaged full-strength beer segment. Bottle. Clear yellow colour with small white head. starnge unpleasant canlike aroma, despite it is a bottled beer. Watery taste and the litle flavour that is left is completely destroyed by the foul flavour.

Biggish offwhite lasting head leaves coarse lacing. Pale amber body. Apple malts aroma with buttery notes. Sweetish-dryish buttery apple malts taste with strong paper notes. Smooth, clean mouthfeel. Fullish body. Dry papery aftertaste with apple notes. Perfect if you love eating buttered apple with a side helping of toilet paper. If you~re like me, however, you~re likely to find that this makes for a three-way clash of incompatible tastes. Drainpour. [0.375l bottle, Lørenskog Brus Shop, Oslo.]

Bottled. Damn this stuff is really crap. Very grainy. Bland & sharp taste. Pie coloured. ’Cold’ must be a warning; I drank it at around 12 degrees Celsius. Must definately be much colder to prevent you from actually tasting it.

375ml bottle at Blå Rock Cafe in Tromsø. Light amber body. Frothy, white head. Vague smell of corn and dry fruit. Carbonic lemon-acid flavoured ending with light notes of hop bitternes. Thin in the mouth. Bland impression. Will not buy it again (16.10.2008).
