375 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland, Bryne. Clear golden color, fine white head. Aroma has hints of fruit and malt. The flavor is very thin, with some sweetness and maybe malt. Very thin stuff.

375 ml bottle. Good-looking, mostly diminishing white head. Brilliant golden color. A note of fruit and cardboard to the nose. Light sugary grain flavor. A touch unfresh bittering hops and a light lemony note. Skinny body. Fruity, light sourish ending. Not that bad, utterly boring only.

375 ml clear bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, fizzy, with a big to moderate lasting white head. Moderate fruity aroma, notes of candy and citrus. Zesty mouthfeel. The flavour is moderately sweet with some fruity notes, minimal hops, bland finish. Not much to write home about here. Far from undrinkable though.

[375ml bottle at Walkabout, Reading] I’m not sure I believe the ingredients list on the bottle, which claims that this "beer" contains all the usual beer ingredients. To my mind it’s sparkling water with a bit of alcohol and a few drops of yellow colourant, although perhaps that is a bit harsh on the makers of sparkling water. It is the first truly flavourless beer I’ve ever had, although there was a faint skanky bitter aftertaste. Three of my friends also tasted it without discerning any flavour, so it wasn’t just me. It’s not even that clean, crisp & refreshing as it claims - other similar beers (Bud, Staropramen, Asahi, etc) do that job far better than this dirty, half-ars@d effort. The only plus point of this beer was that it looked quite attractive - rather pale, maybe, but with a good-sized lasting white head - not that that in any way gave it any flavour. Y’know, I love the Aussies; every single one I’ve ever met has been unfailingly friendly and fun to be with, and I have the greatest respect for their nation. But how a country that claims to be one of the greatest beer-loving societies in the world can come up with muck like this (and for that matter, Fosters, Victoria Bitter, & Coopers Pale Ale) is beyond me. And then, just in case they’ve accidentally left any flavour in, they filter and super-chill their beers to protect their taste buds! Sort it out mate!

with the aussies at work. let the mayhem continue. Boys, i never heard anyone serenade over such a shit, sorry, beer. but hey, i’m sure there are some fond memories there... Smells of sweet corn, light straw in colour, little white head. Very drinkable as in it tastes of hardly anything, very sweet watery, at best, lager.

Forms a dense head of fine suds in the clear glass bottle. Some genuine grainy malt notes for once, as opposed to cornflake/adjuncts. Inexcusably feeble and sweet, but slips down refreshingly without great offence, which is something I suppose. No hops whatsoever, but I wasn’t expecting any. Crisp, clean, dull, bit of a guilty pleasure.

Clear golden with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with caramel notes. Sweet cardboardish flavor with notes of caramel and malt.
