This is precisely the same product as Fosters Lager. All those who think they are getting a so-called ’premium’ beverage are sucked in by the name, price and bottle. Only wankers drink this crap. I prefer fosters: twist top, cheaper, tastes just as much like cat urine. One of the worst beers on the market for sure.

Best thing about this beer is its bottle...Nice pale gold color--average head...Aroma slightly hoppy/tangy...Light balance of malt and hops in flavor, but nothing really distinctive...Body on the thin side as well...Very average, and of course, at an import price...

This beer sucks. So overpriced and overrated. I laugh at the wanna be’s who drink this stuff and think they are cool. We’ll your not because you are the sucker who spent alot of money drinking this crap while I spend the same amount for a Pilsner Urquell!

Pale straw clear with medium large size white medium lasting head. Very faint metallic hops aroma. Very light watery body. Distressingly flavourless and palateless. The dominant flavours are a very mild grainy corn syrup malt and faint stale hops. If this is Australia’s finest then we should hang our heads in shame. Fortunately it isn’t and we don’t. Why I’m giving this a higher rating than Carlton Cold, I dunno - cooler bottle perhaps?

It’s a classic. Despite limitations in depth and finish, still the standard gateway for aussies to the concept of a top shelf beer

Funky bottle. Actually, aside from "golden", all my notes have are numbers and a description of the bottle.

brought to me by an Aussie friend. Liked it & was impressed with the flavor. Nice aroma too. Sour aftertaste.

Not a bad lager, over hyped about being one of Australia’s best beers.
