A skunkish hop aroma, some grasssiness, but quite bad. Skunkish again in the taste - simple awful!!! fourxmate (10), Australia
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2007 A very easy summer beer. Less edgy then many of the newer beers coming on the local market however the only way you would know it was premium is from the label. Great for a aussie local but not quite world class faroeviking (6125), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

Yellow golden colour with a very short bubbly head. Flowery hoppy aroma. Flavour is a little crispy, hoppy and with a malty touch. Refreshing but still a typical what ever pale lager. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Dec 14, 2006 A sign of just how poorly Australian’s can compete if this is considered a premium beer. It has so much fizz to it, you can feel it eating your teeth, and the straw-light colour of the beer shows just how much it lacks any real substance.
Please don’t rate Australian beer brewing on anything from CUB. Look to Little Creatures or even a Cascade if you want to find some quality brews from downunder.
This goes in the same basket as Tooheys Extra Dry and Hahn Premium - overpriced set up for prestige as opposed to substance - perfect for the suit wearing Sydney-sider. All of these beers also bring on the worst hangover.
