Commercial Description:
Carlton Draught is one of Australia's biggest selling tap beers. This traditional full strength lager, available nationally, is renowned for delivering "brewery fresh" taste. Carlton Draught provides a crisp mid-palate flavour which is balanced with a clean hop bitterness and a slightly dry finish.

This is a footy beer. Nothing more but strangely nothing better. Also grows in stature when served out of the plastic 425ml cup. Lets face it, this is when it has a similarity to the Belgian beers. Here it is presented beautifully in its own customised vessel. Not like Kwak of course, because it would fall over when perched between your feet back there in Row Q.

A very light tasting beer, typical run-of-the-mill tap beer that is not too strong. A cheap beer for video nights with the boys, with a friendly screwtop cap.

A decent beer. I can't say much more than that - not offensive, not memorable either...

Pours thin watery dark yellow, completely clear with initial high carbonation. Very thin white bubbly head that dissapears after 20 seconds. Smells like POR hop extract and chemicals. Tastes pretty much the same. Urgh. Got even worse futher into the beer. Could not finish!

Pretty boring. No redeeming features at all, really.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot I had tasted this generic puke: I suppose that was due to the obvious undifferentiability issue concerning all CUBs products. Whatever... half a star because that’s as low as it go.
