Didn’t quite make it to the stage you can sometimes reach with a really bland crappy beer where you can at least drink it without really thinking about it too much... every gulp was somewhat of an effort. Perhaps due to the fact that I was in a 2 hour focus group talking about beer labelling, and so didn’t have quite enough to distract me. SledgeJr (2961), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Smooth and cold when consumed in Sydney’s oldest bar. Average low-flavor Oz lager. However, I think it has a smoother palate than the others. This beer makes me very burpy, though. messymatt (36), Netherlands

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 5, 2006 Very standard Australian tap lager, at least it doesn’t claim to be a bitter like it’s cousin. Bokeroo (16), Sydney, Australia
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 15, 2006 Very bland mainstream beer - appeals to the lowest common denominator. Can’t see why it’s so popular. VB is better in my view.
