Draught, at the Paddington Inn, Sydney.
Pale yellow colour with bright white head. Bitter sweet aroma. Bitter flavour to begin with but then a long sweet aftertaste lingers on the palate. Drinking at extreme pace with some old mates, I haven’t yet made up my mind on this beer. All I do know is that the marketing of the stuff has gone crazy since I was last here.

Head fades away quickly leaving a pale dead beer. No real sign of these special hops they claim to have used, there is an absence of the wet dog hops I am finding in most of the aussie lagers though so that is good. Only reason not to be one for all categories is that it doesn't actually have a bad aftertaste or anything, I regard a 3 overall to be roughly the right price, image etc and not actively offensive. This beer has an image and price problem.

I have given this brew a couple of chances, yet everytime it disapoints more. Have tried it super cold, cold and cool, but even at its coldest it makes no impact! As for the palate...none to excite ones self about, the appearance is worse. The flavour is not too bad, but could have been better. It seems as if the beer was made in a rush with its main focus on impact packaging for the young crowd. I think that CUB have wasted heaps of cash on this one.

I'd have to agree with the others, just the same shite in a different bottle. A faint suggestion of stale hops, chemicals and adjunct in the nose. A watery light gold colour, Flavour is initially of malt and adjuncts then... nothing. A sorry excuse of a beer. I am very glad not to have paid for this slop.

I was pissed out of my mind when I tried this one, and I still new it was bad. I got a free bottle at the Post Office night club in Perth for some reason and don't plan to sample it again in any state of sobriety or drunkeness.
