May 24, 2004 Bright clear golden colour with a white head that didn’t want to hang around for too long. Faint aroma of hops. Taste was pretty bland, front of the palate was a little malt flavour and then a metallic hop finish. This beer is drinkable for the diabetics only.

Sep 10, 2007 When will this fad pass? All the fast food chains that adopted low-carb menu items are quietly dropping them from their line-ups, and I can only hope that brewers move in the same direction. These all taste the same-- watery, and with a more grainy/cereal taste than "normal carb" beers. Pass.

Not a palatable beer by any standards. Have a glass of water and save yourself the trouble of opening the bottle.

Sep 27, 2007 Aroma has the typical Aussie macro PoR pong. On tasting it basically disappears, I guess as a result of the "lower joules", however it tastes more hollow than a lot of low alcohol beers. There is a slight little tingle of bitterness on tasting, but it’s barely there. At least the fish won’t be putting on any weight from this drain pour...

Aug 12, 2008 Thin head back to some lace cover,gold pour,good carbonation.Aroma mildest hop.Flavour bitter,watery still trying,now shallow malt taste.Not a winner but good for low joule drinkers,has something ,not for me.

Aug 14, 2004 Considering this beer bears my initials it seems quite lazy of me to have not got around to drinking it yet. I agree with Jahills - despite being low joule it still seems rather sweet. Definitely more metallic than most CUB products but really no better or worse than any of their other stuff. Quite chemical and actually quite bitter.
