mkel07 (494), Brisbane, Australia Jul 25, 2009 330ml bottle. Nice amber colour with a good strong snow white head. Clear and well carbonated with a strong hop aroma. Lacks anything to distinguish it from all the other bland pale lagers out there. Thin bodies with a metallic taste. Another mass prodcued abomination. NoiZe (1288), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Jun 24, 2009 Had this one during my holiday in Australia april/may 2009. Golden colored brew. Sweet aroma. Light, sweet, malty, some caramel. Dervock (178), Emu plains, Australia Jan 26, 2009 Bottle - Someone left this in the fridge so I thouht I’d give it ago. Very light Malt aroma, not much of a hop tatste. alright for a warm day. bookman10 (84), Osseo, Minnesota, USA Jan 6, 2009 Not particularly exciting, but again you could do worse. Pours golden, hoppy head. Moderately bitter, with some fruity notes. Again, this is a typical mass-produced beer, akin to an American Budweiser or <insert name here> but it isn’t completely worthless. nate2g (1034), Brisbane, Australia Dec 19, 2008 Pale yellow. Skunky aroma of corn and weak flavour of malt and lemon. Watery finish. Label says it’s double hopped...haha. TheJollyOne (204), Kofu, Japan Oct 21, 2008 Dark gold body, fleeting white head. Smells of faint hops and a touch of skunk. Slightly bitter on the tounge. Watery palate. A fine session beer I imagine. rmussman (905), California, USA Jul 7, 2008 Not bad. Some decent flavor and a good finish. Worth a try if you get the chance. thesimmos (13), Brisbane, Australia May 1, 2008 It isnt really an exciting beer, for the price per case I would far prefer a box of James boags light or xxxx gold. But with that said if it is really cheap or something offered it isnt that bad that I wouldnt drink it.
It is like a cider water with a beer cordial added to it very lightly. I noticed someone else said it tastes almost metallic and I tend to agree.
When it says double hopped I am expecting something that would smell like a pilsner. Very deceitful.
