Thin and watery with very sweet - almost sticky - corn accents. No bitterness. According to the label this should be "Double Hopped". Funny guys there at CUB marketing.... 230108 omhper (12244), Stockholm, Sweden

There’s some grass and vegetables. The body is dryish and fairly soft, yet thin. Low bitterness. A decent industrial low abv thirst quencher. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Aug 20, 2002 Tastes like anything with the name Carlton in it, bland, slightly chemically and pretty easy to drink, despite the awful, crappy chemical finish. It also says that its double hopped, i suppose you can taste the hops, but its very faint. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 2, 2005 Double hopped with 1oz per batch, maybe. Pale golden beer, aroma is slightly malty, a touch of sweetness and toffee. No hop flavour and low bitterness. Light sweet finish. motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 10, 2005 Yellow color with no head, no aroma, and no taste. Kind of a dry finish, but it’s hard to really rip on a beer that has absolutely no qualities about it. gnoff (3573), Göteborg, Sweden
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 27, 2006 (375 ml can from a friend brought it from Australia) Label sais "Carlton Mid Bitter Beer" and sais it’s double hopped. Golden to amber color, white head. MAlty a bit fruity scent. Malty sweet taste. Medium bitterness. I was expecting more bitterness, more taste, darker color, well, just more I guess. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 22, 2006 In the bottle. This label now is called simply "Mid" and not midstrength. Claims to be double hopped. Pours gold with a medium poofy head of fairly big bubbles. Has a strong adjunct aroma. Does have a stronger hoppiness than most Oz beer. The finish is a bit lemony. Body is not much up front, but I like how the beer finishes.
