I wouldn’t go so far as calling this "foul", but it is pretty boring. Sweet malt is really all you get for flavour (the same as all corn-adjunct, over-processed pale lagers on the market). I wouldn’t choose to drink it again if an alternative were available, but I wouldn’t turn it down if the beerfridge was empty on a Friday night. This is my standard review for all "two-star-or-less" piss. madquacker (724), Canberra ACT, Australia
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 16, 2004 To call this premium of any description is a joke. A blandness passing off as dry. Very dull. Crap marketing too. mullet (801), Melbourne, Australia
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Oct 15, 2004 Clear yellow, spiderweb head. Quite distinctive raspberry sorbet aroma (perhaps more like raspberry-flavoured soap or something,) but quite yeasty, hair spray, wholemeal bread and perhaps even a touch of malt!
Yeasty, lightly sweet flavour, no hop, a touch of astringency.
I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen anyone buy or drink this - I bet Tooheys Extra Dry outsells this ten to one in Victoria.
Lots of crazy aromas keeps this interesting enough. AlphaOne (142), Australia
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Aug 9, 2004 Almost like beer, no hop flavour or malt profile, cane sugary mid palate(very very not dry) and slight drying bitterness, no aftertaste. Nemo (100), Fremantle, Australia
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 29, 2004 Yellowish in colouring with a small white cloudy head. Tinnie, malty sort of aroma. Bland in flavour with a hint of fruity, almost bittery taste. Although the beer is Crisp and clean, its got nothing much else to offer. bluevegie (2221), Perth, Australia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2004 Pale straw colour with a frothy white head and good lacing. Hop aroma. Not a lot of taste, thin, a touch of lemon and a touch of banana and not much else. gdj (10), Australia

All its good for is making beer batter for fish & chips Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England
