madquacker (707), Canberra ACT, Australia Oct 9, 2009 Was expecting this to be awful in typical CUB/ anything ’pure blonde’ style but was pleasantly suprised. Was synthetic and designed to a forumula but some steady citrus notes and a decent taste beneath the watery overtones. Fizzy and refreshing. DuffMan (2721), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada Jul 13, 2009 Bottle. Geez it’s tough rating lagers! This is just bland, thin, and non-descript. Nothing offensive apart from its sheer dullness. A papery, dry, flavourless clone of so many others out there. This scores a few points lower just because I’m frustrated with lagers all around at the moment, having rated a lot more than usual recently. NoiZe (1288), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Jun 21, 2009 Had this one during my holiday in Australia april/may 2009. Golden colored brew. Lime, sour, watery. bluevegie (2169), Perth, Australia Apr 10, 2009 Light bronze body with no head at all. Muted taste of hops, similar in the aroma, didn’t expect much and that is what I got. mkel07 (494), Brisbane, Australia Mar 21, 2009 Was dubious about another blonde beer from CUB but thought I would give it a crack. Not the best or worst I ever had. Crisp and sparkling clear amber colour with a small white head and strong malt overtones. Thin and watery taste. nate2g (1034), Brisbane, Australia Jan 31, 2009 Appalling beer that I regret leaving a rating for. Give this one a miss and save your health.
