On tap at the Googee Hotel Pub. Pale yellow with a fleeting white head. Served extremely cold and prohibitive of aroma. Thin body and watery finish. Good for coming right of the beach, but then again, so’s a cold drink of water. I mistakenly thought I was getting a Bondi Blonde. This, like all low carb beers by style, leaves a bit to be desired.

Pure Rubbish. Skunky, thin, fizzy rubbish that is. A pity it doesn’t clean out drains as it may have had some use.

Bottled. Pale yellowy golden colour. Fizzy & cold nonsense. Note a great drop.

Bottle. Pale yellow gold in colour. Fairly bland in flavour. Will only try again if doctor puts me on a low carb diet.

I had absolutely no interest in tasting this beer. Low carb beer isnt something I seek out but as someone left one in the fridge I thought I might as well have a taste. I was actually surprised at how pleasant this beer tasted.... then it got worse as I drank more. I think the fact that its 35 degrees here today and I have no air conditioning made it taste better and go down quicker!! By the end of it my mouth was really dry and numb... sort of like how your mouth feels after you use a really cheap toothpaste. I was looking for a glass of water. Cant say I will be trying it again in a hurry.

Bottle. Another bland, crappy lager from our innovative friends at Carlton and United. Impossible to write about the flavour, aroma, etc, when it doesn’t have any.....zzzzzz.

Not a total shocker (unlike everything else CUB manufactures). Not a blonde though. Crisp, Fizzy lager-style beer that is at least inoffensive. Good summer thirst-quencher
