Left behind at my place by a mate - another rating, woo hoo! Looks decent enough. Grass and metal aroma. Tastes like lightly hopped soda water with little to no sweetness. Dominant flavour is that of carbonation. As it warms it gets a bit funky with a cocoa aroma and a distinct banana topping flavour. Tastes alright when it’s cold from the bottle. I think I like CUB’s light beers better than their heavy stuff.

I can’t believe that I even asked for this beer. I suppose that it serves me right that it was no good. Aroma of practically nothing, a hint of hop, and a hint of apple sweetness. This body, with not much flavour, but a slightly harsh bitterness. Generally Crap.

Pale golden colour with a very average head. Light hoppy nose. Metallic hoppy taste that was slightly soapy and a bit watery.

Bottled, in Sydney. Clear amber coloured body with a fine white head. Thin bitter aroma. Thin flavour. With the tyranny that governs this nation and the vast distances people travel by car, there’s strong subclass of beers with only half the strength of the regular beers. You can’t help but pick them up. This was one of those sad half-caste creations.

No way will I repeat my purchase here. It was not a good choice, but still gave me a debate with a good friend who loves it! Shows that we are all in fact different hey! Maybe that yankee beer was not as bad as I thought after all! It had no taste, or flavour, left nothing to sing about at all really.

I had some of this at the cricket because the only other alternative was VB, and that must be avoided at all costs. This rates lower than VB because it is a light, but it did have a bitter, metallic taste that is preferable to me than the bile of VB. In saying the above, it is the usual crap tasting CUB effort. They are a blight on brewing in this country and the world as a whole.
