An old farmhouse style "March beer" from the Alsace region. An ale with a moderate amount of wheat malt and an emphasis on hop flavor.

Cloudy red-brown, nicely double-hued, with a frothy off-white head that is mostly diminishing. Lightly malty aroma, notes of caramel and toffee. Flavor is a touch sour, with grainy notes (wheat, rye) most prevalent. Finish is lightly sour, with a certain ripened fruit tartness I could only compare to sour apples. Pretty tasty.
