Rather yeasty aroma, with coriander notes giving a pretty good Belgianesque first impression, a true surprise. Sweet, lightly malty flavor with more of that yeasty Belgian fruitiness. Moderately carbonated, with a grainy, lightly sour finish. TheEnemy (422), Chicago, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 22, 2006 On tap at the brewpub, Clear straw-gold with thin, quickly vanishing head. Faint aroma of grassy hops and coriander. Flavor is a pleasant surprise thanks to the subtle but effective coriander spice kick. Sweet malt and light honey touch join in shortly afterward, wrapped up by a light hop bitterness. Thinnish body & mouthfeel as one might expect from the style. The coriander is a brilliant touch that adds flair to this otherwise workaday style. Narnad (725), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Arrived from tap a nice clear, golden color with a thick, bubbly head that quickly fades down to a film. Aroma is has a light noble hops note, light caramel, sweet fruity note with some light honey undertones but the overall aroma is pretty light. Flavor starts off with a slight watery floral hop flavor, light vanilla, light honey with a smooth light malt note. Low density and carbonation, no lacing is left on the glass and the overall flavor is modest but quickly disappears. Overall a good brew and one that is hard to offend. Perfect for a few pints due to the low alcohol and pretty decent flavor for a light brew. DrnkMcDermott (1865), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA

I feel the weight of both power and responsibility! Here goes: a bit of lace in the glass (in fact, all the samplers I tasted showed good head retention and a bit of lace). Light coriander note as promised, but not too much. Additionally, I detect a slight weizen style banana nose. Pretty good, even though it’s still in the light range.
