Narnad (121), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Oct 13, 2008 Poured from the tap 10/11/08 a very red/copper color with a thick head which leaves great lacing. Aroma has a caramel malt with a fruity pear scent. Flavor is very malty, tastes like there is some Munich malt, with some caramel flavor towards the end. The mouth feel is med with great carbonation. Good Irish red. Brewosk (137), Illinois, USA Mar 22, 2007 Good Irish red with gentle aroma. Orange/Red color. nice fair weet flavor/refreshing appeared the week of St. Patty’s Day. Pleasant caramel maltiness. SubstanceT (1087), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA Mar 24, 2006 Amber in color with no head. I must say that I was really dissapointed with this beer. Overall it was very bland and thin. The nose was the trend of carlyle to be thin and barely present the taste follows just about the same. Nothing interesting to say about this. JMerritt (1114), Macomb, Illinois, USA Mar 28, 2005 Red-orange in color, with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma was full of caramel malts, with a certain nuttyness (sunflower seeds?). Mildly sweet flavor, lightly acidic, with notes of red grapes in the finish. Interesting.
