12oz bottle from Bottles n’ Bins. Pours hazy light orange/yellow with a thin, fizzy white head, specks of lace. Smells light citrus hoppy with a crisp malt backbone. Tastes light, sweet citrusy hoppy with a good cereal malt backbone. A little too sweet for me but still pretty good. Medium body, good carbonation.

12 oz bottle from some liquor store in Monterey during a mini vacation. Pours a slightly cloudy gold color with a diminishing white head. The aroma is faint with butter, vegetables and dust. The flavor is light and mediocre with sweet butter, biscuit, and a touch of caramel. The mouthfeel was light to medium, and the carbonation was lively. The finish was short with a touch of hops. Overall: This is a dumbed-down pale ale that aims to not offend anyone more so than it strives for any character (and thus it should appeal to Bud drinkers). That aside it is quite drinkable.

I’m on vacation in Carmel and went to two different liquor stores, terrible beer selection. Bottle. Lightish gold color, lots of carbonation, non-lacing white head. Spruce hop smell, bland but refreshing on the palate and a little bitterness at the end. Pretty nice for a day on the patio.

Nothing special.. Fairly weak flavor. Not much hop flavor. Why is this called Carmel P.A. when it is from Ukiah?

12 oz. bottle courtesy of stefanje. Thanks Stefan! Very light amber color with a one finger head. Decent retention. LOTS of carbonation flowing to the surface. Aroma has some leafy hop and subtle grassy notes but is carrying an acrid mildewed dish towel kinda vibe. Very spicy and slightly vegetal hop taste with a honey-like maltiness. A grainy, biscuit like quality is also present. It has potential, but is inconsistent and watery.

Draught. Clear golden color with white head that left very little lace. Smells of husky grain and light sprucy hops. Flavor is similar with a slightly bitter finish. Eh.

~Pours clear golden with decent white head. ~Scent is very sour, like a overpowering bud light. Somewhat citrusy. ~Flavor isnt bad. Sour citrus taste. Fairly weak. ~ Medium feel, almost creamy, smooth with tingles. Quick kinda nasty aftertaste. ~Not very good, but I can still drink it.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Clear gold with a thin fizzy white head. Aroma is diacetyl. No characteristics to define this as an APA at all. Flavor is diacetyl sweet cream butter with a hint of grassiness. High carbonation, thin body. Avoid these Carmel beers!
