Commercial Description:
Filtered bottle.
A beer with the name Ring O Bells One And All was produced for the wholesaler LWC Jollys at the, now defunct, Ring O Bells brewery in Cornwall. After the closure of Ring O Bells, LWC Jollys changed the branding of a number of the bottled beers to Carn Brea and moved production (via Keltek) to Hepworth. The recipes may may differ from the originals. In the case of One And All, the recipes differed radically, so the beers have separate entries. Ratings for the Carn Brea brand should be placed here, not under Ring O Bells.

An ale rich in colour with a sweet floral aroma. Light and easy going with a hint of malty flavour.

Bottled@Chris O Post GBBF Tasting. Amber colour, mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is hops, harsh grass and some earth. Flavour is malts, some harsh hops and a bit harsh metallicness in the finish.

A Mes rate: bottle at Chris O’s Post GBBF Tasting.
Copper colour with a reasonable white head. Faint fruity malt with a little burnt toast and toffee. Bitter finish. Dull as hell but inoffensive.

Carn Brea "One and All" is labeled on my bottle. Aside of the brewery labeling differences, this is one very good and enjoyable beer. Medium head, moderate carbonation, amber-copper color and herbal-floral smell. Very drinkable, and bit watery (but not in negative sense). Light in bitterness. Not very complex taste. Caramel sweet, woody and herbal taste. Fruity notes are also detectable. Quite refreshing.

Bottle, Beers of Europe. Bit of a turkey really this one. Always wary of beers bragging about awards on the bottle. A copper coloured pour with a vanishing off white head. Very little flavour to speak of, has a vague sweetness that is not enjoyable. Lacking in any character. Didn’t finish. Booo

Bottle (labelled as Carn Brea One and All - purchased on St. Michael’s Mount). Toffee malt and cherry aroma - malt dominates. Reddish amber color with moderate head. Strong toffee malt and cherry/berry flavor. Very fruity but also with strong malt taste as well. Very nice.

Bottle. Bronze beer with a good head. The aroma is lightly fruity and dry, and the flavour is nicely dry and bitter with a fruity tinge at the finish. Overall an OK lightly bitter beer.
